(1) Get Smart - near complete indistinguishable from the classic tv series; still Carrell is pretty funny, but only in some hilarious laugh out haha scenes (toilet, dance, impromtu kiss & laser security). rest is usual hollywood stuff..who know's they might do a sequel. 3/5 stars
(2) Wanted - had my doubts as i wasn' t too impressed with the director's other 'Watch films. aside from some interesting effects & concepts, its a pretty normal hollywood action film. heck towards the end, i felt like i was watching a two-hour public service announcement, haha. watchable but not a must-see...3.5/5 stars

Get Smart looks okay overall, though Steve Carell seems to be veering more and more toward slapstick-style humor
